Terms & Conditions

1. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to register.
• Your mobile number is your login ID. One mobile number can hold only one account.
• The details and documents you submit must be true, complete and your own.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything done from your account.

2. Verification and admin approval

Workers upload an Aadhaar card; companies and suppliers upload a GST certificate and a PAN card. The Garment Setu admin reviews these documents and may approve, reject or block an account. Job posts and supplier products are also reviewed before they are shown to others.

Approval means the documents were checked at the time of review. It is not a guarantee of anyone's conduct, work quality or payment.

3. For workers

• Keep your profile, department, experience and skills accurate.
• Garment Setu is not your employer. Your job, salary and working conditions are agreed between you and the company that hires you.
• Appointment letters are issued by the hiring company. Check the reporting address, time, joining date and salary before you join.
• Garment Setu never charges workers any fee to apply for a job. Report anyone who asks you for money.

4. For companies

• Post only real, open vacancies with honest salary, location and joining details.
• Do not ask workers for any fee, deposit or document beyond what the law allows.
• Pay wages and follow labour laws that apply to you. You are solely responsible for the people you hire.
• Post credits are used when a job post goes live and are not refundable or transferable.

5. For suppliers

• List only products you can actually supply, with correct price, unit, minimum order and stock.
• When a company sends an enquiry, its contact details are shared with you only so you can discuss that enquiry. Do not use them for anything else.
• Price, quality, delivery and returns are agreed directly between you and the company.

6. For contractors and job work units

• Take on only the work you can actually deliver, with the people or machines you say you have.
• A company's requirement reaches you because it matches the category on your profile. Keep that category accurate.
• The company's phone number is shown to you only after it confirms your application, and only so you can discuss that work. Do not use it for anything else.
• Rate, quantity, timeline, quality and payment are agreed directly between you and the company. Garment Setu is not a party to that arrangement.

7. Enquiries, deals and payments

Garment Setu connects companies with suppliers, contractors and job work units, but is not a party to any sale or work arrangement. Garment Setu does not collect, hold or refund money, and is not responsible for any payment, delivery, quality or dispute between users. Always verify before you pay.

8. WhatsApp and phone communication

By registering you agree to receive messages about your account on WhatsApp — for example account approval, matching job posts, appointment letters and password reset codes. Other users may call you on the number shared through an enquiry or a confirmed application.

9. What you must not do

• Submit fake documents, fake job posts or fake products.
• Impersonate another person or business.
• Harass, cheat or spam other users, or misuse their contact details.
• Try to access another user's data or interfere with the platform.

10. Your documents and data

Uploaded documents are stored securely and are visible only to you and the Garment Setu admin. Your contact details are shown to another user only where the platform needs it — a supplier receiving your enquiry, or a company and worker after an application is confirmed.

11. Suspension and deletion

The admin may reject, block or delete any account, job post or product that breaks these terms or looks suspicious. Records such as applications and letters may be kept after an account is deleted.

12. Limitation of liability

Garment Setu is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Garment Setu is not liable for any loss arising from dealings between users, from information posted by users, or from the platform being temporarily unavailable.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Garment Setu after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
